Welcome to Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula

You will find stacks of the Keweenaw Traveler in shops, restaurants, hotels, museums and other strategic spots throughout the Copper Country. We also distribute to the MDOT Welcome Centers along the border of the UP.

Each issue of the Traveler contains information about the must see places, captivating museums, underground mine tours, amazing hikes, photogenic waterfalls, dramatic shorelines and the history that underlies it all.

The Keweenaw Peninsula is a unique place. Old growth forest in the Estivant Pines, public access to miles of Lake Superior shoreline, world class mountain biking trails, nature preserves that protect amazing places, and people that care about it all.
